Today at the store I was reminded they still sell printers. Who the hell owns a printer these days? Not this guy

(they are still convenient sometimes, but I print like five things a year)

Yes. It's a small printer that I bought at a yard sale for $20. Can print in color and scans. It's tucked away on a shelf and almost always turned off.

I've got a printer/scanner in one. Cool as fuck.

But I wish color laser printers weren't so damn expensive. Inkjet cartridges... such a money racket.

Yep. It's a scanner too. I don't have any ink in it mind and it's a old Lexmark one but the option is there if I need it I suppose.

Nope. The last time I owned a printer, which was over 15 years ago, so much time had elapsed since the previous document I printed that the almost unused ink cartridge in it had dried out.

why wouldn't someone have a printer? isn't it almost a necessity? I also have a 3-hole-punch and a bunch of basic binders, and I have a brother laser printer that does double-sided printing, so I need to print a manual or something, no problem I have a binder with the manual in it in no time.

Recently worked out great with the game Shenzhen I/O which has a user manual that's specifically intended to be printed out and put in a binder.

Yes. It's quite convenient to have around especially when you have errands to do and applications to fill out.

i have two, one for general use that takes two ink cartridges, and one for photos that takes seven ink cartridges.

receipts, invoices, copies, faxing, ect.

i've faxed a shit load of things, surprisingly. it's stupid how many places take faxes but not emails.

My HP Deskjet 842C from high school is trucking along just fine. Prints slow but outlasted my Epson printers in college. I still print plenty nowadays but mainly for Boy Scouts stuff.

We do have a photo printer that connects with Bluetooth. That gets used alot.

Monochrome laser, 4-color inkjet.

More than one although I only need one. We used one regularly in our business. I have an all in one that I really bought for scanning old photos to restore since that is one of the things I do for people.

I have to print all kinds of business, legal and medical papers. A lot of time there has to be a paper copy with a real signature (sometimes with witnesses).

Yeah, I'm in college and use it quite a lot.
