Ive never had the greatest memory, but lately Ive been forgetting things in a different way

I had an exam Tues I could have sworn was Thurs (actually walked into class, saw everyone with the scantrons, and pivoted and straight walked out because I seriously would have failed). I have an exam today I could have sworn was the optional cumulative one I didnt need to take on lectures I have no memory of, and even though they get posted online and I check the site regularly I dont remember seeing them, and Im now having people reference conversations weve had that I have no recollection of. Apparently I went off on my father for no reason the other day. Ive also been forgetting basic things like how words are spelled

I went in for lab work and a bunch of shit came back inconclusive except for some things which my doctor is referring me to an endocrinologist for, so its not even just mental. My tremors which Ive always had are almost getting seizure-like, and I drop things all the time. Last night I broke a wine glass and cracked the screen on my phone

Idk wtf is going on or even when it started tbh. Everything is just really fuzzy right now

Could be something, could be nothing. The mind is a funny thing that can do some strange things if you are very stressed or have a lot on your plate.

Its good that youve seen a doctor already. Try not to worry until you know something concrete and take care of yourself, make sure youre eating enough and getting enough rest. Otherwise fatigue and anxiety about what is going on can make neurological symptoms worse or could even be causing them to begin with.

Have you taken SSRIs for a while? I only found out recently that that shit messes with your memory, it's a joke among my friends that I make up silly names for characters in games but it is because I can't remember stuff like that well

That sounds like some scary stuff. Did the lab work include some thyroid stuff?

I know, and Ive been trying. Whats happening I think has been making it worse since Ive been stressing hard over it so Im hopeful its not as bad as it seems

Ive been on them since I was 16 and Ive never had these sorts of issues. Im forgetting things seconds after they happen. I have insane OCD and Ive even been even forgetting to indulge the weird tics I have, and trust me thats worrisome for me

Thats why she wants me to see an endocrinologist

Always, but it has been worse lately admittedly. Boyfriend moved and Im going to be following soon and Im having to transfer schools (only partially related, I was going to have to anyway which is why we decided to live together)

Im excited about that though so it should be better than it is :/

I'm also worried about my memory. I've noticed mine have gotten gradually worse as of late.
I literally forget what I was about to say or what I was thinking of all the time.
It's annoying as hell and I wish I could remember shit like I used to.

The subconscious mind is a strange thing indeed. All I can suggest is to try and have more "you" time. relax and unwind doing things you enjoy doing and try to keep stress and worry to a minimum. Although I suppose that's more easy said than done.

So I woke up this morning unable to breathe through my nose

Thought I was just congested but it turns out I had a bad nosebleed while I was sleeping and it was just stuffed full of blood

This is getting fun

Do you often get nosebleed? I get them often and it's always annoying when they happen.
