Tweezers to work the edges and give them more shape\reduce the overall size.

Also nose hair trimmers work well for thining them out when they get bushy. You just mess them up and run the nose hair trimmer through them a few times and they will trim up nice.

I doubt she "moved on". She probably did what most people do, guy or girl, and went on dates with multiple people and ended up deciding to go with him. That's normal

The sooner you learn that you shouldn't put women on a pedestal and get too emotionally attached when you have not known that woman for a fairly long time, the better off you will be in the future. It is a stepping stone, and a much bigger leap forward than most other guys out there. Take what you've learned and apply it to bettering yourself for round #2 with the next girl that enters your life. Don't think of them as a future wife, but rather as a human being that you spend time with and get to know, and then you guys will either "click" or not.

As for your looks, maybe change your hairstyle. The skin can be cleared up with time, just don't eat or drink excess sugars and use lotions and stuff. Eyebrows can use some work too, either tweeze yourself or have a female friend take you to a salon or hairdresser that has waxing services. Only $8 for a wax and it doesn't hurt as much as people say it does. I get mine waxed twice a year. In fact, I'm way overdue for one. Lastly, the camera angle... that angle gives your face an unsettling look... zoom out with more of your body in picture and maybe change the angle slightly... just not straight forward like you are trying to look into somebody's soul.
