I'm generally curious how they enforce this. I mean I was banned from our mall when young for stealing yet I still went in there without any issues. Either the security didn't know or didn't care enough to enforce it.

i don't think they do. every employee would have to memorize thousands of different faces.

i think it's more like, if they get caught again, when walmart runs their name through their database it'll pop up that they're a repeat offender now, and walmart would end up pressing charges

obviously if they went back to the walmart they originally stole from, those employees would likely recognize her on sight.

unless their cameras have facial recognition, but i doubt that

Child's play. My dad is banned from every walmart, Sam's club, and Murphy's. And one home depot... Which is odd that it's only one particular branch considering they knew he stole a bunch from multiple ones

I do wonder on average how much money is lost with stores across the States with self-checkout machines. Is the money lost worth the savings on not having additional employees manning the typical check-out machines?
