Were you already in Mementos? I always just scheduled a single day in between palaces for that. Everything else was maxing social stats/social links.

You can always run around and check which ones are about to level up before hanging out with anyone. Y'know the whole "relationship might get closer or w/e" line they give you before asking if you want to hang out. Been a couple weeks and I'm at endgame so Idr what it actually says in game. ...
