The camera only fucks you up if you are fighting him the wrong way. As in, thinking you can stand directly under him. Keep him at medium range and punish every time he misses on the head. He leaves himself open after every attack.

Yeah, I found it easier to choose between head or tail. Naturally the head is far easier.

He's far more predictable when you simply attack the head, and you deal double damage to boot.

Your other option is to jank him with pestilent mercury, but depending on your build it may not be amazing.

Note that he also takes bonus damage from abyss weapons, so that can help.

As for avoiding the attacks: his claw + fire breath attack that he opens with is easily avoided by rolling through one of the first swings, then chasing him(aiming for the left or right depending on positioning), and getting a running attack in.

His fire breath sweep is my fav attack, you simple charge him, roll through the fire, then get a bunch of hits in.

Regular fire breath you just roll left or right, then whack his face once or twice.

Once he reaches low hp %s, I like to stay really far away to force him to do his laser spam. If he does, pick a side, then run towards him, get behind him asap. Try to be on his right side, as one of his laser attacks sweeps behind him. Once he burns out, get a bunch of free hits in.

For his magic humanity attack, just keep sprinting.

Assuming you attack his head and stay in front of him, you don't have to worry about his anti range/behind the back tail sweep attacks.

Shooting the head with dragonslaying greatarrows and/or lightning miracles.

Switch to a Strength build, seriously.

Bait out his huge laser attack and then rush in so you can deal like 1k+ damage to his head.

I went into the fight using Valorheart which relies on combos and has a very short range. It was incredibly annoying. Switched to the great axe and beat him in 2-3 tries.

That's the best strategy I know of. Normally with big 4-legged beasts you want to stay right under them but that's not the case with Midir, you want to be mid-far distance away at all times until he does the laser

I thought the Slave Hobo was worse. At least with the dragon I could see what it was doing. With the Hobo Fuck I sometimes lost track when it was flying around.

I finally beat him.

Took maybe 20 tries? Lol

It was really hard getting my spacing correctly.

I eventually realized I preferred to keep distance and then run in, but he backs up a lot too.

It took a while to figure out exactly how far I needed to be back and when to run at him so I didn't whiff completely
