This is a war on all modern civilization. It's not just about the US and backlash to George W. Bush's invasion of Iraq and drone strikes and stuff. There are people out there who seem to think that the US has caused every problem in this part of the world, but stories like this highlight how the problem of radical Islamic terrorism is something that has goals of conquest not at all related to the US.

Well America did support some of the terrorist groups back before they were terrorists groups. They empowered this groups who later got out of control. Now even without foreign help hey probably would have gained power eventually, but to say the US had nothing to do with it?

Anyway I thought it was common knowledge that the extremists groups actually kill more innocent Muslims then anyone else.

The US has contributed to problems in the region, but I think there are people who think that the US has completely caused all of these problems and that the Middle East (and the issue of global Islamic terrorism) would be fine if not for our meddling, which is not true.

Yeah I agree. Though groups would have found another way to get power and influence.

Tragic, but I'm happy it wasn't a Coptic Church at least. That's how it normally goes in Egypt.

So Christianity should be abolished because of all the murder and war it caused? No? Then shut up dude. Yes radical Islam needs to be addressed but to act like its something inherent in islam is so fucking stupid unless you hate all religion

so they put bombs in the mosque and set them off when lots of people were inside. they had the exit blocked off and started gunning down the people that were fleeing. they also shot at the ambulances that came over

no, a planned assault with dozens of attackers, in which they bombed the building, set the cars outside on fire, then gunned down anyone running from the collapsing, burning structure
