Just say you're going somewhere it's not like they'll check. That's what I did when applied for mine last month. Also I got it super fast, it was in my hand two weeks after I sent in the application.

No, you can leave that blank if you like. You don't have to prove you're traveling to get a passport unless it's an emergency and you need it in like 1-2 days.
