Anyone else lose interest in gaming after 30 years old?

I enjoyed my SNES, N64, PS1, PS2, PS3, and a bit of my PS4 from elementary to college.... but now that I have a job and after I get home from work, I literally just want to relax and found that watching movies or tv shows suits my needs better than fiddling with a controller. I even took two weeks off and found that I still find sitting on the couch and watching a tv series was just better for me at this age. Went back to gaming and just switched it off after 5-10 minutes. Last game I really enjoyed was Witcher 3 but I was jobless at the time. Now I'm not hyped for big release games at all.

Anyone else feel the same?

Not quite 30 yet, but yes.

Having less free time is a big part of it, but gaming has changed a lot too. I'm just not a huge fan of the shift towards internet connectivity and I'm pretty much burnt out on the games I used to love.

I have less time for games, but I love games more than ever at 32. All retro games, though. My newest console is a PS3 that I barely use, I play mostly Sega Genesis/SCD/32x, PC Engine, NES. I've got probably five games per week arriving at my house. My game room has a 32 inch Sony Trinitron for a screen. Light gun FTW.

i'm not 30 yet but I feel ya. it's hard for me to rationalize playing a video game when my time could be out to better use

that being said, 2017 has been a bit of a resurgence for me. civ 6, persona, the switch, divinity 2, etc. has given me games that draw me in though. even still, it's not at all anything compared to my younger self

I still love games but my ps3 is perfectly suitable for me and I haven't bought a brand new game in years.

I also don't habe a lot of time with a job and a family. I might game 3 or 4 hours a week.

No. I wish I could play more games. I doubt that's gonna change in 2 years.

30 years old and still love gaming, have less time for it but it is still lots of fun.

I dont always get to play when I want to but when I have time its game time !!!, sometimes I dont even finish a game before someone else does though in my home.

It is more fun having coop partners though but getting schooled by the ladies does hit my ego sometimes.
