I watched the first Thor movie today. Lol at how shitty Asgard looked compared to Ragnarok. I mean yeah, 6 years and a much higher budget, but it's funny seeing the two in direct contrast

Watched Thor last night and Doctor Strange right after I got home. Revving up Spiderman as soon as I eat dinner and then I also will have seen all of the MCU movies so far

I thought Doctor Strange was gonna suck donkey dick and that Ragnarok was going to blow my mind just from reading internet comments, but they were both alright. Not bad, but I'd rather rewatch Doctor Strange than Thor

I love the MCU, very happy they have come so far and done so well, it truly is the age of the comic book movie.

I feel like they were more forgettable than they were bad. I actually didn't mind Thor 2 or Iron Man 3. I'm glad I saw them, I don't feel like my time or money was wasted, they bridged a gap between the other movies, but I'd probably not sit down and watch them again.

I paid to watch Iron Man 3, not Tony Stark 1. And even when the suit actually showed up he wasn't even in it most of the time.

I liked it in when I saw it in theaters and then when I rewatched it I thought it was just okay. I just remember the scene when Loki transformed into Captain America and acted goofy and the scene when Thor was fighting while traveling through portals opening everywhere.

Yeah, Thor 2 was pretty bad.
I don't think it's fair to compare any of the MCU to the Hulk though, it's too much of a tonal shift between them. If I had, then yeah it'd be at the bottom of my list.

Cap 1 and Thor 1, ehhh. they're not bad but very basic compared to the post-Avengers movies.

I don't like IM 2, but can see why someone would like it.

AoU was pretty mediocre.

Ant-Man was fun as hell though.

GotG 2 I think isn't bad, it just feels like such a letdown from the first one that it's hard for me to be unbiased and judge it by itself instead of comparing it to the original.

No. It's literally the worst one. Even Age of Ultron is better than Iron Man 3.

That movie is pure diarrhea. It's Green Lantern or F4ntastic Four level bad. The only movie even worse than Iron Man 3 is X-Men 3.

I don't get the hate for it. I thought the Mandarin twist was a clever way to include the villain without the horrible implications the character carried. The only part I really hated was the stupid inclusion of the little kid. For like twenty minutes, it went off the rails and turned into a 90's Disney adventure movie.

IM 3 just wasn't really a comic book film. it was more like shane black and rdj decided to have some fun with it. like, I think you can tell that rdj was just kinda collecting paychecks after im 2 bombed, never really coming back in style 'til civil war (could totally be reading into something here)

I feel like if you're looking for an iron man film or even a comic book film you're gonna be disappointed. if you're looking for an xmas themed buddy cop film then you'll enjoy it
my problem with it is that it attempts to tackle some interesting themes but ultimate falls short because of the marvel formula. still enjoyable, but I wouldn't say it was a great movie or anything

That's because the first one was truly a top-tier, rare film that comes along only once or twice a year. It really is a gem and pretty groundbreaking. I wouldn't expect it to be topped by any sequel, more or less anything else sci-fi in the next 5+ years.

He built like 40 of them in six months, and those that are flimsy are designed to be easily entered and exited.

Please do go on. Because there are issues with the movie, but aside from the kid none of them are objective issues that hurt the movie.

Hot ScarJo means little when the rest of the movie is shit.
Ant-Man suffered from Wright's exit and it shows.
GotG 2 was the worst CBM of the year, somehow even JL was better than it.

The point of the movie is to play with your expectations. We're literally seeing the trailers how Stark was living. The Manadrin is the obvious bad guy who is all about presentation and just reeks of coolness.
To swerve from that is brilliant, you couldn't do that with an original villain.

And c'mon. The Mandarin was a racist caricature that Marvel has clearly been ashamed of for some time, this was perhaps the best way to even have him.

i watched iron man 3 and thor 2 a couple months ago. saw Ragnarok so i'm all caught up on all of them till the next one comes out.

need to watch the punisher and agents of shield to be caught up on all the shows as well. oh and apparently agent carter is a thing as well. never even know they made a show of her. guess i have that to watch as well.

I have all the MCU movies on Blu-Ray or 4K and I love them. Some of them aren't as good as the others, but it's 17 movies.

Now, I just need to turn my older purchases into digital copies.
