I freaking hate that shit. Every time the music stops, I think it's the CS rep that picked up, and not the automated "Thank you for holding" or whatnot.

I feel like they intentionally play sad music to make you rethink about your life and hang up.

when i called in to asiana airlines, it was like 3 seconds of music, followed by 30 seconds of a lady telling you of their newest features on planes, thanking me for waiting, and more ads. then it would fade out, and then start again

i was on hold for 20 minutes. it was torture.
