EA wants to cash in on the series while not building on the first two. You should compare Battlefront 2015 to the planned Battlefront 3. It is incredibly barebones compared to that.

Shame this is what the series turned into!

That looks like a much higher score than it deserves. It doesn't really fix many of the problems of Battlefront 1, except for the lack of content. But more content doesn't help if the gameplay still sucks, which it does. Space battles are sick but that's it.

The biggest problem in the first game (imo) was getting sniped by basic rifles from the complete opposite side of the map. If they fixed that then I'll have a good time and don't really care about the loot box situation.
