I never really played 3 thinking it might be a step backwards, and I was put off by its graphics, but maybe i should buy it to re-evaluate my position.

Both have their pros and cons.

I found 2 was very similar to one while having a bunch of good improvements to it. I can't speak on three cause I never gave it much of a shot though.

3 looks and controls a bit more clunky, but I prefer the 3D models because they make your theme parks feel larger and more alive. Plus with the expansions you can make zoos and water parks, both of which are extremely fun.

That's not to put down 2, which is timeless. Probably sunk a thousand hours in both games, and you can't go wrong with either.

If you're looking for a straight-up strategy game, 2 is better. Want to have more goofy fun and play with scenery, 3's the one to play.

man i always kinda feel overwhelmed on a big map not sure what direction to take my park and make the entire park cohesive and run well together.

so right now i am playing rct 2, took the tutorial map, closed out of the tutorial, and gave myself 5 million dollars.

but...what do i do?

it's called son of beast. you can probably google it as son of beast trainer. idk if it works with the steam version though? i used to use it with my disc version.

uhh ill try it out later perhaps. if not the 8cars one pretty much gives me what I want: millions of dollars and ability to tram in guests.

my plan is to make a bigass park while closed, then turn everything on, open it up and tram in a shit ton of people and watch the progress unfold.

but this wont be for a while. like i said making huge parks is cool once i get going but initially its like what the fuck do i do with so much land

yeah money is pretty much all you need tbh

you can check out the features on son of beast and see if it has anything you really would want but money is really the crux of it

i like it too because it can help with your guests mood and stuff and tram in guests as well. it also has an own all land feature so you don't have to try to buy it all yourself and other stuff. the features are on the website though.

oh man i need to get removed height restrictions so i can have go-karts soaring amongst the clouds.

Since this map is super huge i feel like making a troll queue line a mile in length. however the ride to it will be super awesome.

guests move slow af, especially the fat turd who has to pause every three seconds to chug his soda. itll be glorious

on my computer RCT2 is too buggy. it works for long stretches but theres always the chance itll crash or freeze.

perhaps there is a patch to fix this?? steam wouldnt dare release an early 00s game that isnt patched to perfection now would they?
