Not even close.
She wasn't THAT big a deal and she died too far from the release date to really have an impact. Also Heath's joker was mindblowing whereas Carrie's Leia is just standard stuff and nothing special. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

Dark Knight didn't do well because Ledger died. It did well on it's own merits.

Nah. Ledger's death was unexpected and very close to the date of the movie. Fisher was living on borrowed time for years.
