Like, presumably she's bursting blood vessels when she uses her powers, right? Shouldn't they encourage her to not use her powers?

I just assume because she still has to grow into her powers/abilities, it puts a lot of strain on her body, which results in the nosebleeds

in other works of fiction, whenever that happens to a psychic, it indicates that they're gradually damaging themselves by using their abilities

It honestly looks overused as a effect.
They should only get nosebleeds if they really push they're powers not every instance they do it. All the potential tension for the scene is gone and you think it's normal for blood to appear.
