Microsoft's nigh-abdication of the console space doesn't help either. X1X just seems like it's releaseing to try to get some return on the the investment, with bluray 4K playback tossed in more out of spite than anything else.
Xbox needs exclusives, not specs for the sake of specs.

even sony said this a little bit ago, they fund these studios to make exclusive big single player games like horizon/bloodborne/etc not because they expect them to be these massive sellers but because they want to use them as basically selling points/advertisements to get the console

Xbox got really fucked up in the late 2000s when CoD blew up and they decided to just ride that wave and cash in off motion control gimmicks. i dont think they ever really recovered from that tbh

i miss the good Xbox times... the OG Xbox that was getting PC type games, dreamcast titles, and new shit, and the 360 pre-CoD4
