Board 8 > Time for my yearly posting of my nightmare.

People always seem to like reading this, so enjoy. I have a few other nightmares I have documented if anyone wants em.

Now this has the typical coherency of a nightmare so some things don't really logically flow from one to another so I'll try my best to describe it in a way that could be understood.

So it's about 1 am and I'm at home just playing games online. This is when my friend Brett calls me and tells me that I have to come check something out. I complain about how late it is but he tells me it will be the craziest thing I've ever seen. So I guess I agreed to it because I end up at this old run down hospital in the next scene of my nightmare. My friend Danny is also there ( all three of us are very close friends in real life). We end up going to the 2nd floor of this extremely tall hospital. The hallways have no lighting but Danny and I had brought flashlights. We eventually find the room with Brett in it. He tells us " There it is, I don't know what the hell it is guys"

Basically it was what appeared to be him. Just lying there. Right from there I'm already freaked out. Then I heard noise from outside the room, like something is slowly coming towards our room, bumping into anything in it's way. I look into the hallway and see nothing. I tell the guys I have a really bad feeling and that we need to get the hell out of there. It's at that point that the other him begins to start spazzing out and starts hyperventilating. Then it stops. It turns it head towards Brett and begins to open it's eyes. At first they look normal but then. The pupils disappear and the length of the eye disappears. It's just all of the white of an eye at about double the size. It then looks at Brett and says " I hear the sounds of nails inside you".
It's then I hear more noise from the outside.

I peek my head out the hallway again and I can barely make it out, but I see what looks to be 10 heads in the dark, barely reaching over the staircase at the end of the hall staring right at me. I tell the guys once again that we need to leave. Danny agrees but Brett refuses to go. He said " I need to know what this is". Suddenly all noise stopped. I mean even ambient noise. There was legitimately no sound. I look in the hallway again and the 10 figures are now a mere few feet down the way. Just standing there. When I look back, the thing laying in the bed starts laughing in such a horrible way. Brett starts screaming saying something is happening to himself. Then we all hear it. The sound of a Nail being hammered. A nail then spontaneously burst from the inside of his skull going outwards and Brett lies there in a puddle of his own blood. Me and Danny bust out screaming and begin to make a run for it. We jump from the second floor to the outside of the ground level.

Danny landed in a bush so he was alright but I hit the ground hard and my leg was badly injured. I told him not to wait for me and to keep running. There were dozens of the figures in the yard just standing there. I see Danny jump the gate, get on his motorcycle and make it out. I'm stumbling across the yard and finally make it to the gate. I was too terrified to look back but I could feel that the things were all closer to me. I climbed over, flung myself over the top and hit the ground hard on the other side. I begin to limp out of there and onto to the main highway, trying to move alongside it. I do this for about an hour when I feel the sensation of something following me. I look back and see nothing but the sense of dread had kept growing stronger. Eventually a guy in a pick up truck sees me and offers to take me home. I hop in the back, gladly taking the ride. I end up at my house, and fall asleep. Still the sensation of something following me is there.

The next morning I wake up to the sound of my phone going off. It's my parents asking if I'm ok. I tell them I'm alright and they say that they got a call my girlfriend saying that something has happened to me at her job.

Next thing I know I'm at her job and I get inside to find her and a few other people crowded around something. She sees me and just starts crying and grabs me and hugs me. I asked her what was wrong. All she says is "look". I then see in the middle of the crowd "me" on the ground, with the long white eyes. It looks over at me and says " Can you hear it?" I then hear the sound of a nail being hammered and the last thing I heard was the screams of my girlfriend and then I woke up.
