The thing I see as weird about this issue is that some of the people who criticize others for having privilege because of being a man or being heterosexual or white are the same ones I see making fun of men for not being tall or having an average or small penis. They're upset about those privilege traits because they're not earned (e.g. you're "lucky" to be born white in a white-dominant society) and they feel it contributes to an unfair society, but they don't want to acknowledge that being a short male, for example, is also something unearned (i.e. bad luck) and it too creates imbalance. They're not being consistent with their views.

Because they factually feel better to women, within reason of course, nobody is taking a 14 incher that's thicker than a soda can or something comfortably but something like a 7"-8" dick with reasonable thickness is going to feel better than a 4" pencil dick to the overwhelming majority of women.

That's not to say size is everything though, you could have a perfect dick but if you can only last 30 seconds you're not rocking anyone's world and you can still get people off with a smaller dick, just generally speaking, bigger, within reason, is better. So obviously it became a social thing to want a big dick.
