She used to set the VCR to record it every day and then marathon all the episodes on the weekend

I checked some out when I was younger, since my mom was a fan, but I was always lost since the shows went on for many years and had episodes everyday

My mom watched all that shit. Young and the Restless, General Hospital, etc. Luckily my brother and I always had our own TV so we could avoid watching most of that garbage if home sick or it's the summer.

Yea I grew up watching it anytime I was home I'd watch it with my mom. All the way up to high school I remember, days of ourover, General hospital, passions, young and the restless and some other old ones that got canned in the late 00's.

My mom quit watching them a few years back.

I watched General Hospital for about a year not too long ago. I understand why it's so appealing. It's a stupid show, but it's pretty entertaining. Still, there are 5 episodes a week, and new storylines keep getting pumped out. So I eventually lost interest.
