No longer is Hollywood questioning the viability of female-led superhero movies after Wonder Womans massive commercial and critical success this summer. Combine that with the Oscar buzz surrounding the genre-transcending Logan, and an X-23 spin-off sounds like a better idea by the minute. While nothing has been set in stone yet, Mangold confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that he is working on a script for a Logan spin-off to continue Lauras story.

What do you mean? It's the end of Wolverine's story. It's predicated on the fact that you're accustomed to the character and the actor playing him.

If Logan were the same movie starring a different character, it'd still be a good movie but far less impactful.

What do you mean? It's the end of Wolverine's story. It's predicated on the fact that you're accustomed to the character and the actor playing him.

If Logan were the same movie starring a different character, it'd still be a good movie but far less impactful.

Yeah but the only thing we've seen of X-23, is from the Logan movie. The character hasn't really been able to develop beyond that, so it's unfair to assume it wouldn't be as good because you're comparing a fresh character to a character who has been shown to the masses for years and years now

I'm not saying it's going to better or anything, I'm just saying it's kinda unfair. At least give it a few movie goes before making that assumption >__>

The shitstorm is going to be wondrous if Dafne keeps the part, and the movie gets made before 2024.

A solo X-23 movie would suck. They need to just say a wormhole opened up and sucked X-23 into the DoFP universe and put her in the Dark Phoenix movie, or else that movie will really suck.

Deadpool is theoretically immortal, and Cable and Copycat probably are too. There's your movie.

It doesn't necessarily have to be a "solo" movie.

Actually that would be awesome, just put her in the next Deadpool movie, or have Deadpool play a supporting role in hers.
