In both of those instances, those people were fuckheads who shouldn't be posting anywhere anyway. Edit: I do agree that pedophilia and hypocracy from the admins is fucked up. Now the OP's were better because they made you create quality OPs, that helped a lot but other then that the discussions were no better there. The same topics got discused here just as well as there. Sure there was less noise, mainly because it averaged a older age group, but that was about it. That is if we are talking about gsme discussion. Gafs off-topic posts were absolute garbage and unless you joined in on the circle jerk, you got banned or they would circle the wagon without ever really getting in a debate. That said, gaf turned more into a spot where game journos went, more then game industry people and it turned into a steaming pile of crap after that. Anita became the darling of the mods and they started clamping down HARD on any critisism of her garbage. Once Malka thought he could get cash from the progressive crowd out west he double downed and declared it to be a progressive hugbox. After that it was just a massive circle jerk for the game media and progressives. Neogaf stopped being worth going to 4+ years ago(outside of sales numbers).
