My experience with the series: I've played 1 multiple times when it came out and I played 2 for a couple hours.

I haven't played the Ultimate Edition or whatever, but it was fun. Not as good as 3, which is the best in my opinion, but good nontheless

It easily has the best combat out of any of the entries, as when playing Dante you can swap styles on the fly. Getting the special edition also lets you play as five separate characters, and while not as deep as Dante, they do add a LOT of fun overall.
If it wasn't for the pretty excessive backtracking it probably would've beaten out DMC3 IMO. --- PSN/Steam: HaVeNII7 ... Copied to Clipboard!
