I did too then I actually started drawing 2 months ago. Made quite a bit of progress and the difference is huge.

Can't wait till my house is fixed up so I can continue my progress and improve on new techniques such as foreshortening and shading.

Both. I've actually stopped using references now and started drawing my own things.

Practicing blindly helps you learn things much differently then using a mechanical method of following instructions.

Take it from experience: it doesn't matter if you're man, women, straight, gay, comically horny, tragically asexual, love erotica or just looking to rip it apart, the very first place a viewer's eyes are going are the breasts. The only thing that could possibly cancel this rule is a hardcore open-crotch shot.

So if you're serious about drawing erotica, it would behoove you to prioritize learning how to draw breasts. First learn how gravity affects their form - don't just do bubble shapes. The trendy breasts these days are huge and floppy, but if you don't want to go down that road, at least practice drawing them squished into different shapes via clothes, hands, things like that (this is something I myself need some work on).

Then work on mastering the face, and then hands and feet once you're feeling more confident. The thing that separates the amateurs from the skilled is how well you can do hands and feet. Legs, arms, stomach, back, shoulders and neck can certainly draw the eye if you completely botch them, but these are much more forgiving features than breasts, face, hands and feet.

It's a half-true observation. I used to get off to my own stuff all the time when I was younger. The difference is that back then they were pencil drawings that could be knocked out in a couple hours and didn't really need to be finished, since no one else would see them but me. Now that I have better tools at my disposal, drawings have become vastly more complicated; they usually take days rather than hours to finish, I am indeed so sick of looking at them by the time I'm done that they've lost all erotic value to me.

The general rule is that I have a lot easier time getting off to my own self-driven pieces rather than a commission or request, because ultimately the latter two are someone else's fantasy.
