Street fighter has actual footsies which requires appreciation and skill in spacing, whiff punishing, and calculated timing. In contrast, anime fighters only requires the player to jump and air dash the fastest to gain the first momentum in order to spam low and high mixups until the opponent is KO'd. Don't let these flashy long anime combos fool you. Outside of them, anime fighters have nothing to offer compared to street fighter.
