I'm keeping my expectations fairly low. I actually don't even know much of anything about the game. I'll play it as I have played every single 3D Mario ever. But I mean, it's just not looking like a Breath-of-the-Wild type Nintendo game at all, even from the little I've seen.

BoTW was great. However I feel Nintendo has really pushed the budget over for Odyssey.

I have a copy pre-ordered too. I'm not a huge Mario fan, but I do enjoy the ones like 64, sunshine, and Galaxy. I've pretty much avoided all info outside of the announcement trailer, not that I was trying to though, just never really felt like looking into it. Hopefully it'll be a great game.

Yeah I'm not getting like that for Odyssey. Breath of the Wild rethought literally everything with the Zelda formula besides a few minor things that carried over. That's just not the game Odyssey looks like its trying to be, looks very familiar. As long as its better than the boring 3D World I'll be happy, but the cappy shit gets me jittery.

Preordered.
Basically all my time is spent trying to keep myself occupied enough until it releases. My desire to play other games has dwindled as all I wish I was doing is playing Mario Odyssey.
