I watched the first episode and didn't like it at all. Haven't touched it since, is that one just bad or if i didn't like it will I not like the series?

Ive watch four episodes. My expectations were really low after iron fist, so Im easily impressed. I agree that the first episode was lame. All it really did was establish what the characters were doing. Once they get together, it is better.
I dont know how strong my recommendation is, but I was surprised that I wanted to keep watching
