my tooth are horrible and I was supposed to get a cleaning once every 3 months. but then we moved right around the time i was due for a new cleaning and I was told to get a new dentist as soon as we arrived but my parents ignored me everytime i brought it up. Now 4 months later suddenly they finally want to do it. when it's too late and I don't want to go anymore cause i know I will have to have massive surgery. I was warned by my last dentist that my next cavity would be worse than any in my life so far. My dad is victim blaming me. saying I should have been more persistent in telling them I need a dentist. So I hung up on him. I'm just gonna let my teeth rot. fuck it

I have always had bad teeth even as a kid. my whole life has been an uphill battle by dentists to try to keep my teeth preserved

I don't want to have massive surgery. my last dental visit really scared me about the future. he said the next time I get a cavity, I will probably have to have major surgery.

I knew a dude a few years back that had tooth aches and wouldn't go to the dentist thinking they would pass, but he developed an infection and it killed him.

I haven't been in almost a year myself due to how expensive it is.

for some reason I have never been able to really master the proper brushing technique. and over the years I just kinda gave up. even when i try, I can't do it right, so what's the point? I blame my aspergers for somehow making me unable to do it.

so what am I supposed to do about it. maybe it's not aspergers but I am also willing to bet you don't even understand aspergers. also, I have multiple issues. but you wouldn't get that either. lots of people have multiple disorders that really fucks them up when they all combine. I've seen shrinks my entire life and been on meds. obviously I have problems and I trust the doctors more than some random jerk on CE who thinks it's a good idea to call someone unstable pathetic

your brain which will cause a stroke

your throat which will swell and close up suffocating you

or your heart which will cause a heart attack.

basically if you neglect your dental health you will die.

yeah as much as I hate going to the dentist, you really don't want to fuck around with your teeth. I brush mine every day I go out or to work, a little lax on days where I'm not doing anything but I make sure I brush with toothpaste and mouthwash. My teeth are relatively healthy too. I had a root canal on one tooth which has slightly chipped, meh since its a molar and not really important, not like anyone can see it anyway, and I have a slight overbite and one of my teeth is behind every other tooth so it looks like it's missing. That's it.
