As for the rape comment, that was insensitive. But coming from another guy who uses the n word and degaratory term for homosexuals, is almost like the pot calling the kettle black. You can justify it as humor which is fine, but people can still call you out for being insensitive for exploiting the suffering of minorities.

Ricegum's response was better than Leafy's imo, but it was still bad and he did a lot of things Leafy did. He didn't really have a counter argument for most of the points, he just deflected or made excuses.

This is just my observation, but I don't think Idubbbz reason for bringing that up was to shit on Ricegum for it, just that Ricegum said "what would he say" as if there's nothing he's done that Idubbbz could criticize him for and Idubbbz was just pointing it out to show there are absolutely things to shit on him for and that the rape comment thing was just the obvious example because it was the thing Ricegum already got the most flak for. That's how I interpreted it at least.

I do think Ricegum rape comment was worse than iDubbz constant use of the n word but its more about why are we singling only one of them out. I'm sure iDubbz is using it in a satrical manner but his use of the word doesn't seem as self deprecation but more of using it to be edgy for lolz. I don't watch iDubbz (or Ricegum) so I don't know any of the context but he knows its a racial, homophobic slur that has been used to put black and gay people down. Even then just disguising slurs as a "meme" doesn't makes it socially acceptable to reiterate routinely.

With that said, I'm not either of their audience so I don't enjoy their videos or humor but apparently people do like seeing others buy overpriced clothes or calling others racial slurs in a satrical way. That's fine,I just don't understand what the "point" of the beef is besides quick Youtube views.

Then it became a meme within idubbbz fanbase of calling him that and he started referring to himself as that to take the piss out of it.
Then when he did the "say n word" thing with Tana Mongoose, that was solely to point out her hypocrisy where she talked shit about him saying he should kill himself for using the n word in his videos when she herself had said it on video, multiple times, in a derogatory way towards a black person, something idubbbz has never done. She's just straight up been like "you fucking n word" to someone and tweeted things like "I'm going to my pet n word's house"

There's never been any context where idubbbz has called someone an n word or tried to be derogatory towards someone about it. It's exclusively and blatantly obviously never used in a remotely serious fashion. Whereas RiceGum has tried to claim he was just joking when he made those rape comments, but there's no actual joke there. There's no context for what he said other than he just said it to a rape victim.

That's fair but not only does he give off the impression that he is racist and homophobic, it seems like he is also promoting the use of slurs to his audience. Fans like you may be able to understand the joke and how its ironic but others especially younger viewers would just see it as its ok to say racial and homophobic slurs just as a "joke". Same goes with Ricegum, from that short clip it seemed to me he did mean it as distasteful, offensive "joke" but to others, including me, didn't find it funny but insensitive. I don't want to sound like his fan but he apologised for his actions where as iDubbz continues to promote his usage of the n word.

People use phrases like "Imma kill you" or "kill me now pls" and nobody's batting an eye when it's about murder or suicide.

It was legitimately horrendous. idubbbz's track sucked too but he's not a rapper nor does he really pretend to be, it was just a joke-y thing that obviously he has to do when making a content cop on the king of YouTube diss tracks in terms of popularity.
