I used to live there. It's a legit 2/10. Even when I was young, I could tell the place was crap.

My dad would rage at so many terrible drivers and mean people in the streets of Broward and Miami Dade county, and so many people I met were just jerks in general. The weather was painful to live in even during a normal year, and then factor in the hurricanes (my parents survived Hurricane Andrew) and it's just awful overall. Disney World, Universal Studios, the football/basketball teams and the baseball stadium are the only redeeming qualities to the place that keep it from being a 1/10. I'm not much of a beachgoer, but to those who like the beach, that's a plus too. But a lot of places have beaches, and most of them are probably better than Florida.

Florida man stories alone are a 10/10. I've lived in a couple of states and so far it's my favorite. There's a whole lot of dumb but the beaches are nice and the weather is good (I say as a hurricane I scheduled to hit me tomorrow).

Yup. They have to deal with earthquakes, tornadoes, blizzards, gangs, guns, insanely cold temperatures, all types of shit.

And Florida has 3 out of those 6 things on top of the hurricanes though, plus sinkholes are more relatively more common there.
And I don't know about you but I'd rather tough out a blizzard than deal with a literal hurricane that could wipe everything to my name off the face of the Earth.
Plus it has one of the highest rates in the nation of violent crime, identify theft is the worst in the nation there iirc, ranks near the bottom (possibly dead last, I don't remember) for education spending, shit tier public transit even for major cities, etc.

The place is only nice for a visit or vacation, it's a shit hole to actually live in.

- Idiotic crimes and activity make me question why i live here
- Summer rains are the worst, and very unpredictable
- Hot summer
- People here cant drive, i cant count the number of times ive almost been rear-ended. when i drive the speed limit, people hug my rear, its annoying
- Pensacola's tap water...good lord its horrible
- Gator and python issues are random
- hurricane prone
