The most obnoxiously loud film I've ever seen. I get that it's a part of the "experience", and I appreciate the gesture, but they take it to absurd degrees, and quite frankly most of the moments are not significant enough to deserve that sort of booming accompaniment. They're not even deserving of the much more subdued score of the original.

We couldn't even sit for the credits cause the score wouldn't stop screaming.

I cant imagine watching this movie on home video. You'd have to grab the remote to turn down the volume every 20 min.

It's probably way more reasonable at home because your home entertainment setup can only be so extra and isn't rolling around in several tens of thousands dollars' worth of specialty audio equipment.

Are you sure it's not just your theater fucking up the mixing?

You see it in a regular theater or IMAX. (and would it matter?)

Im not sure yet. At this moment the best I can say is 'yeah it's great, sure...'

The film is a lot better before Old Man Ford shows up.

It's possible.

Normal. Not sure how IMAX would be relevant. Only been to one IMAX showing ever and I think it might have been fakeMAX

I was wondering if the IMAX version is why it would be too loud
