While this sucks, you've got to adapt.
It's about $20-50 for birth control monthly based on Google.
Condoms are cheaper.

Are they also not going to be covering vasectomies?
While I'm joking, every sperm is sacred.

Like I think I understand the idea that some night feel like the government shouldn't tell companies what their insurance should provide. So if that's the argument someone uses, they have more issues than just the birth control part of insurance coverage right? Why is birth control the hill people are choosing to die on when it comes to the idea of companies and organizations having the final say in what their insurance provides

If the person said that the reason for this issue is solely because of pregnancy and sex, then as long as they're consistent in that in regards to both men and women, I'd atleast understand. I might not agree, but at least they're being consistent.

But I'm not sure if the issue people have, is with sex, pregnancy, and religion, or if it's an argument against government oversight.

I mean the laws the GOP are trying to put forward would allow them to refuse birth control on religious grounds. If it was really about smaller government theyd be against what the GOP is doing by making it legal to deny certain coverages, no? Thats more government than simply having their insurances cover medication like birth control.

Not necessarily. Smaller government would be wanting the choice to solely be in the private companies.

Are insurance companies wanting to include contraceptives, but these other organizations want the ability to say no and purchase a different"package"? Or are private companies forced to include contraceptives in the insurance package they buy?

The only argument that makes a tiny bit of sense is a religious liberty one. They have some moral issue with birth control and if so, they don't want to be forced to pay for something that furthers birth control. If so, again, surely there are many more issues they have other than birth control when it comes to this.

Also, I'd have to ask. What's the religious and moral reason against something like hormonal birth control?
