I see these vids pop up on the front page of reddit all the time. Yesterday there was a video by "iDubbz" dissing another youtuber for 30 minutes. In fact it's still at the top of /r/videos with 50k upvotes. Video has 8 million views.

Who actually watches this shit though? CE, are you interested to know what iDubbz has to say about Ricegum for 30 minutes?

You don't need to care about the people he makes the content cop videos on. I've heard of the people does the videos on but I never watched any of their stuff. People like it because the videos are hilarious. Idubbz completely rips them apart and makes good cases for why the people in his content cop videos are hypocritical and stupid pieces of shit. It funny. And if you've never watched one of them, then of course you wouldn't get the appeal. If you ever do decide to watch one of them, you should start with the leafy content cop video

There's a better point I was going to make with this topic that I forgot about as I was writing it.

It's weird to me that a lot of these guys have entire careers that are essentially meta reaction videos about other youtubers. Like idubbz, h3h3 (who seems to just put out videos like this instead of more original content anymore), phil defranco, etc.

It's one thing to be making a good career on youtube by making content but it's pretty wild to me that an entire subculture of meta content has popped up that's also providing people wealthy lives.

I occasionally get some entertainment out of a little YouTube drama.

Recently, I enjoyed the Mister Metokur videos shitting all over youtuber Jonathan Ross/EffinRawz, for being a filthy pedophile who tried to kill himself/get attention by drinking Febreeze air freshener.

He also did a retrospective shitting on Randy Stair/Andrew Blaze, who was a failed YouTuber who started some Ember's Ghost Squad bullshit. EGS was a fictional club he made up in which when people died they would become female ghosts and join this squad led by the ghost girl Ember from Danny Phantom. Apparently that didn't go so well, because Randy Stair went on to shooting up the supermarket he worked at, killing himself and 3 others.

More recently, he did one about Game Dude, shitting on him for literally stalking and harassing his ex-girlfriend and making creepy, crazy obsessive videos about her.

Further back, the retrospective on Nick Bates. Shitting on him for being a literal scat-loving pedophile who is, currently, in prison for 40 years for molesting his step sister

Yeah and there's other things too like those videos chronicling youtuber dramas and the top ten funniest youtube fails of the week. It's like people's obsession with celebrity news, which is already bad enough, except these people aren't even celebrities.

Im not sure why. Hes not that good? I mean I dont think he destroys these people as hard as people make it out to be

I think the world needs people like him because there are some serious egos out there on YouTube. If your entire career is built behind like zero effort and youre a piece of shit I think you deserve to be put in your place

But he could be better at it I think.
