I fiddled around with it. Nice tool, but I think I am going to try the more natural route as I think that will give me more of an ability to nail what I what my superheroes to look like.

Yeah, it's pretty powerful. Takes practice to really properly utilize though.

Its OK...I give it a 2/10 for technique, a 5/10 for design and a 10/10 for fun factor.

Drawing is like a sport, 10% talent, 90% practice. Almost anyone can learn to draw given enough time and work. If you can write letters you can draw..letters are drawings, its just that you've been practising them from a young age and can do them easily.

Thank you for the feedback. I will admit, it was a spur of the moment thing. It was late at night two nights a go, and I decided I really wanted to draw her as I wanted to find out what she looked like (I mean it, I do not know what she looks like, she is just an idea in my head).

What design improvements do you have in mind?

Well design is very much dependent on technical ability and whether you feel confident trying things. So initially I would advise improving your drawing first and not concern yourself too much over design choices.

That said you could do various thing like add accessories, weapons, a more detailed belt.
You could have various clasps or buckles to hold the cape near the neck. You could break up the completely red suit with some colour matching the underwear, like along the arms or legs or ribcage.
You could show stitching or folding, the boots could have laces or buckles or buttons or icons even.
You could give her shoulder pads, knee pads, or elbow pads, straps or weapon holders.

One of my favourite past times as a kid was making up and drawing superheroes. Naming them and describing their powers and stats so I totally understand why you enjoy it. :) I pretty much learnt to draw by copying my favourite comic panels, it taught me alot.

I am going to avoid too many weapons and accessories for now because I do want her suit to be simplistic in nature. The belt is definitely something I would like to give more identity to though. I am not the best at adding color though, so that will be a challenge. I want her suit to resemble classic Superman, very basic, but I will see what I can do with the color scheme. Stitching is something I can do (if you didn't notice, there is a pi symbol that makes up the boot. Guess I could make it more of something resembling some stitching.

I also know definition in the character can go a long way, again, just not a strong suit, but I will try to get better.

Thanks for the advice!

That is very good! I don't think I can reach that level, which is why I am going for a more simplistic look in the body and face, but it would be great to have a drawing of my hero like that.

I'd honestly play with the greek aspect of the costume.

Something like this.

Alice band for the modesty.
Shoulder length hair.
Pi symbol at an angle no need for the circle around it.
Half cape.
Draped belt across the unitard with a pie symbol in it.

And after that it's up to you. I'm really tired, and I'm pretty sure I just ripped of Phoenix and Supergirl with that design. If you're drawing a belt or boots around a hero I usually like to do them curved because it looks a bit more feminine.

I'll do a mock up in the morning because I'm tired.

Okay, well thank you. I would love to see what it will look like! Of course, as I said, I am going for a suit inspired by Superman's suit, at least for the earlier version of her.

I love the ideas that you are all throwing out there. Might use some of the ideas for the male tbh since his suit isn't supposed to be superman-inspired like hers is. I would love to see some modifications to how I did the female of course too. Seriously though, thank you guys! :)

@nayr626

Hey, I was just wondering if you still wanted to do that mock up as I was interested in seeing your idea on paper?!?

If not, that is fine.

Yeah..but the basic idea. I come from an anime background so I'm not used to drawing stuff like this..I think maybe the drapery coming down and cover the left half of her thigh like a sarong would be cool too. I'm cooking right now I'll be back.

Both in some ways. She isn't a fetish character for me, and her costume is more Superman, less Supergirl.
