start with Chinese wushu flicks.

Recommend:
Kung Fu Hustle (top tier, get immediately)
Jet-Li's Fearless
Hero
Curse of the Golden Flower

Some other foreign flicks worth watching

Monty Python (Holy Grail, Meaning of Life, Life of Brian) from the Brits
La Vita e Belle (Life is Beautiful) Italian flick about WW2
Der Untergang (another WW2 movie. Famous "hitler reacts to" meme from this movie)

I have enjoyed Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Pan's labyrinth, The Babadook, and a handful of others,

I liked all of them and I should really watch some more.

I have at least one film from...

UK
US
France
Germany
Italian
Mexico
Canada
Japan
China
Serbia
Russia
Australia

That's not bad, I think. Most films are probably American and French, with more American ones.

I think I have US and UK. I have a few filmed in Italy (they're Spaghetti Westerns) if that counts. I've seen films from Japan, France and Taiwan but don't own.

I've got a couple Soviet films, a whole bunch of Japanese films, quite a few Hong Kong films, a few UK films, at least one Mexican film, one French film I can remember, and one in Esperanto. Maybe others, I dunno.
