It tried too hard to be edge, with the dialogue, and dark and shiny visuals. Some of the plot so far hasn't been better than average. This certainly isn't quite as smart as Star Trek is meant to be, and it isn't nearly as smart as an Aaron Sorkin TV series.

It's unreasonably bad. The only reason I haven't been ranting on about it is because any hate on it makes people brand you a racist or sexist..
