My apologies to those who felt the need to mark my other topic <_<

Anyway, it seems like when certain mass murders are linked to things such as terrorists are illegal immigration, policies and tangible actions are taken to prevent them from reoccurring

Yet, whether it's a church or elementary school, it's seems the gun favoring portion of this country, the same ones who often want to close the borders after an attack carried out by a undocumented immigrant or Muslim, actively try to avoid any larger discussion (gun control, mental health, etc.)

Why is that? Hopefully this topic didn't trigger those who felt they needed to mod my last topic

because if a white person did, it becomes an "us" issue. :v But if a brown person does it, even if they're American born, it is a "them" issue.

America seems either unwilling or unable to address the factors that contribute to these "lone wolf" type killing sprees, however when an organised terrorist faction does something similar the blame is much more straightforward to point to.
