Its more that the zany action felt extremely contrived and forced, and that when push came to shove Rick rolled over like a bitch. Rick being in a pissing contest with the President of the US was at least entertaining if a bit pointless, but the whole things with Beth and Jerry just felt forced. Idk, just felt like the weakest episode this season. Last week wasn't real strong either. The way it ended was basically just going back to the status quo or hitting the reset button which is pretty fucking stupid. S4 probably won't contain B plots that are just how bad Beth and Jerry's marriage is. We also been seeing Summer taking a more active role in helping Rick. Morty has also grown a bit too.
