Batman could take Spiderman in a fight

lol

Spiderman is stronger, but Batman has superior training in martial arts and better technique. It's not unheard for someone who's a skilled fighter to defeat an opponent who is bigger and stronger.

All he needs is his spider senses to wipe the floor with Batman. That, on top of him being stronger, faster, more agile, etc.

Spider-man lost to captain America who is equivalent in ability while still being significantly weaker than Spider-Man.

Today I learned that Bane vs. Juggernaut would be a close fight.

Not.

it would be a very close fight. It would open, and then close immediately, really hard, with Juggernaut winning.

Well the reason why the Joker hasn't killed Batman is because he actually likes him. He has no attachment to Spiderman so theres nothing stopping him from just blowing him up or doing some twisted ass thing to him, Joker is way more dangerous than Norman will ever be.

It's not about the physical capabilities. It's about the morality of the hero and how he handles the situation. Batman could easily kill Joker in a hand to hand fight, but it's about his ability to go beyond just pure strength and fighting prowess.

If you really want to talk pure power Batman could nuke Gotham or New York. The pure access to power is tilted towards Batman.

I'd say Spiderman would have more problems. Although Spiderman is intelligent in regards to science and engineering, it's Batman that has that in spades, and has investigative attributes to boot. Spiderman typically stumbles onto the bad guy or relies on his spidey senses to sniff out the culprit. That just isn't going to cut it for Batman villains. They work in the dark and in hiding. Their threat doesn't come from how they're able to directly attack the hero, but from the damage they do to society from the shadows.

It's also a vague danger alarm. It might alert him to danger, but it wouldn't tell him specifically that the kiss is dangerous.

You're wrong. His Spider-Sense sense let's him know the direction it's coming from he'd sense the danger coming from her lips, or at the very least her head and he'd keep away from her.

I guess I was a bit mistaken.

Regardless, I suspect Ivy could do some pheromone manipulation to throw off his Spider Sense, if she knew about it. It wouldn't be the first time an enemy used it against him or dulled it.

poison Ivy has the ability to attack Spider-Man from every direction at once.

Spider sense would help him dodge most of it but the chance that he could get through the fight without taking even a single hit is really small. It's a given that Poison Ivy will hit him at least once, only question is can Poison Ivy deliver a strong enough dose of poison in a few hits to actually take him out.

Batman typically comes prepared ahead of time with antivenom.

It's not like Spider-man has never been poisoned before. He's a scientist and could probably whip up an anti rode himself if he doesn't pass out first. Or he could get help from the avengers, the X-men, the fantastic four or Dr Connors

That's not true at all. Spidey does detective work all the time. He actively searches for people

I think they'd both die if they swapped, provided the villains are new to them both. There are a mountain of spider-man villains that could take out batman, and Spidey seems pretty damn likely to get murdered by poison ivy.

Half of what Batman deals with are mob wars. You can't end a mob war by tying everyone up with webbing.

Batman obviously. Spidey would do okay with some of his villains, but not all of them.

Spider-Man has dealt with his fair share of mob wars.

I think Scarecrow would be incredibly dangerous for Spider-man thinking about it. Fear toxin isn't something he can easily dodge. Who knows how he'd flip out if he was scared of everyone around him.
