I'm going to limit myself to 4 shots. If I end up getting shitfaced again then I'm just going to have to come to terms with the fact that I'm not one of those people who can casually keep alcohol in his cabinet and be responsible with it. Right now I'm young and in excellent physical shape so it currently is doing me little harm but I definitely don't want this lifestyle to persist into older age. So here I am setting a concrete limit for myself on a message board with witnesses to keep myself accountable. CE, thanks for being a place where I feel like I can openly do this sort of thing. You guys are the best. ^_^

Good luck, I had to learn to moderate myself too but every once in a while I get a little too drunk because my tolerance is still really high and the first couple drinks don't usually hit me until after the 3rd one or so

I too struggle with my love for alcohol. Wow thanks guys I'm actually getting more support than I thought. I half expected some responses saying I'm pitiful for drinking at all because of how anti-alcohol some of the users are on here. The topic is still young though! Lol

I used to drink most or all of a 750ml hundred proof captains or blackheart rum or jack and like 2 liters of soda. These days I drink like once a week and usually just 3-4 drinks at the bar. Not the quantity, the shots part. Yeah shots are my preferred method of alcohol consumption for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I like to stay in shape and shots don't make you fat. Secondly, they can get you really drunk really fast, which I obviously enjoy since I'm the kind of person you might expect me to be as the TC of this topic. --- Witty signature ...
