I'm continually surprised by how many times I've wound up getting laid on the first date lately. I'm not exactly the type of guy most would be inclined to throw themselves at, but it's happened. I'm not complaining (or humblebragging, don't get me wrong), but it's confusing.

First date is just getting to know the basics, I've never even had the desire to kiss someone on the first date late alone more than that.
But also my goal has never been to just fuck someone.

Depends what sort of 'date' it is. These days if you meet off tinder etc. then the goal of the night is unspoken and you go through the date motions just in case you might like them enough to catch up again.
Track record is usually within the first few dates, usually 2nd or 3rd, every so often on the 1st. If it goes on any longer without some sort of tomfoolery then we might not be getting along so well and it doesn't matter since we're probably not going to see each other again.

Almost everyday date nowadays. I'm the one left holding out usually. Some chicks just get too thirsty, sometimes to the point of begging. I try hold off till at least the second date unless I'm just looking for some pussy.
