So I know what everyone's going to whine about:

2 was damn near ruined by the Boobeam Trap and being unable to stop the Flash Stopper.

X7 was rough but rescuing the damn reploids was actually easier than in X6, which is pretty important since thst feature drags both games down several spots.

The Battle Network games had awesome combat but dungeons don't know when to end and screw having three hundred fetch quests per game, especially when they're for things that are hard to find. 3 is among the worst offender in both those ways, and 5 had those stupid damn libertion missions.

ZX was a great game, shut up.

Nah, I have only played the numbered ones.

3 > 6 > 5 > 4 > 2 > 1

1 and 2 are there only because they are unpolished, which matters in a PvP game.

4 was just actual shit. You talk about fetch quests being irritating, then place the the most fetch-quested game in the series second.

It's literally:

Tournament 1: Fetch quest x 3.
Tournament 2: Fetch quest x 3.
Tournament 3: Fetch quest x 3.
Final boss.
Repeat 3 times.

The entire game is pretty much 27 fetch quests, and it somehow got 2nd (of BN games, never liked action games) when you apparently hate fetch quests.

Battle Network 4 above 3's criminal

As I understand it, the biggest complaint with 4 is that the aftergame requires two additional playthroughs of the main game. Which isn't a problem if you aren't concerned with the aftergame. Meanwhile, the main gsme of 3 is filled with the worst BS in the series (aside from 5's tradh liberation missions) like having to find that damn Yoyo chip to trade for like the savetheworldprog or whatever it was, having to permanently consume chips to burn down cyberweeds or whatever and all that kind of garbage.

How is Mega Man II GB above III? II should be dead last.

Fetch quests are ok when they give you some additional condition that makes it interesting. 4 and 6 were the only games to do this.

I honestly don't clearly remember some of the stages for those two, but what I definitely do remember was that III's Wily was much more a PITA to fight, and they didn't even give you a courtesy checkpoint beforehand.
