It for sure has that vibe but it's like a legit story driven RPG. I didn't mention Stardew because I'm sure I sound like a broken record on that one by now.

I sure feel stupid for owning the Super Mario Galaxy games for four or five years without even touching them. I mentioned it briefly before, but Odyssey coming out has finally made me want to play them. I beat the first one a couple months ago and I'm about halfway through 2 now. They're phenomenal, other than the fact that holding the Wiimote in a pointing position is a little uncomfortable. Odyssey is going to be so awesome because the gameplay looks even more creative and I don't have to deal with a weird controller.

I used to feel the opposite about Mario that I did with Zelda - that 2D is vastly superior to 3D - but the Galaxies (Galaxys?) really make me rethink that. 3D Land/World are also pretty decent. I was just never completely sold on 64, and Sunshine was even worse.

I like when they show the crowd at these London games. It's so random. You'll see a 4 people sitting in a row wearing pats, 9ers, Packers, and jaguars stuff, even though none of those teams are playing.

Reminds of when I went to a Chelsea vs AC Milan game in mpls last summer. It was a combination of MN ufc, Vikings, and Real Madrid attire in the stands

Really? It seems a lot easier to me, but maybe I'm just used to the controls and if you actually played them three years apart it would be more noticeable.

I'm interested to see if they'll ever do remasters of these Wii games. A lot of people seem convinced they're coming to Switch, but I feel like they aren't factoring in the controls. I know the Switch has motion controls, but I'm not sure if they work entirely the same, especially with SS that used motion plus. And then what about portable mode, would people just have to use the kickstand?

Even if they were playing for draft position, I feel like MLB teams don't really care that much, at least compared to other sports. I don't recall recently seeing a draft where there has been a "sure thing" prospect outside of the #1 pick, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I just think of the Strasburg and Harper drafts, and those guys were considered sure things, but how many people can name the #2 guys in those drafts?

I think in general teams have gotten pretty good at that very first pick at least, but you can only do so much because as we all know guys flame out all the time for any reason. But the fact that the Nats got Strasburg and Harper back to back from tanking is just insane. Neither one is the absolute best player in the world or anything but they are both great and were the two biggest draft prospects of the decade, and aside from maybe Griffey Jr. they're like the two biggest ever.

The Falcons also lost. It's crazy that in week 4 there is only undefeated team left. We could be looking at an NFL where the Chiefs are literally the best team. What a time to be alive

Or the Patriots will just win 12 straight games like they always do when people think they look bad early in the season

I think the Rams coach is good at least for the offense. They've been scoring points way better than they did under Fisher and that's with this being the first time Gurley wasn't worthless this season (he went crazy today actually). I haven't been watching so I don't know how impressive Goff has looked but his stats have been better than any Rams QB has put up for as long as I watched them. Annoying but oh well, I knew they wouldn't be bad forever

Yeah, I didn't watch, but even the highlight recap was boring me to tears. It's great how the 49ers lose 2 weeks in a row because they can't get a TD with 1st-and-goal. Take half of the salary of Hoyer and give it to Robbie Gould since he's the one scoring all the points.

I just....why? I'm going to look back on this in 5 years and cry when the Tiger's draft pick turns out to be a star.

But then again, if the Giants draft a random white infielder, they can't miss.
