A good friend of mine is throwing her birthday today, she announced it a long time ago... but I feel like shite. I have a bitch ass migraine and I wouldn't hesistate going if I didn't have work afterwards... night shift. I'd have to leave her party at 11 and work till 7.

I just called her and already four people cancelled which makes me feel worse about not going. What should I do

but that sucks when people drop out. what about turning up early for the party and staying for a little while until most people arrive? then you can leave since she'll be busy hosting other people and you don't have to stay long

Only regret would be disappointing her, I'm not in a party mood obviously. That makes me really bummed
