I rented it. It's weird and it feels awkward to get used to after so many years of playing mvc3, but yeah when things start working it's pretty fun and the combo system is creative and free. So much so that they'v been constantly patching out infinites and a bunch of Touch of Deaths have already been found >_>

I'm not big on the roster, but in all honesty, I'd just end up playing Spider-man/X until the end of time, kind of like what I did with Ultimate (and some Black Panther too... if he was launch.)

Yeah my main issue would be readjustment I think especially since I still play 3 pretty regularly. That's why the roster is extra disappointing too, I was hoping to find new characters to use and there aren't that many. I know everyone plays somewhat differently because of the new mechanics, but still.

Monster Hunter does look pretty cool. Fuck Capcom for holding all the interesting characters back for DLC. I'd rather they had just delayed it and added more in from jump

It def feels different than 3. I end up doing weird shit with Dante.

Like if you down right heavy punch you have the option to follow with 3 different moves but I'm hitting heavy punch so fast I end up doing the same thing really fast. You have to like calmly press it once.

And I'm only using the time stone. One of my biggest pet peeves in fighting games is when I know I can win and I get zoned liked a motherfucker. I just tap l1 and I'm always in their face or end up behind them
