Apparently, from an official interview with Iwata, they were discussing the design of the American Super NES, and he said they designed it like that because... they thought Americans would need a place to put cans of pop. Still, I should play III again Well, FFX-2's gameplay isn't too bad. Shame that the return of a class change system is wasted on only 3 party members though. Would've been much cooler if they brought it back in a new, original FF with a whole party of new characters. And I plan to get FFIII, too. I loved the class change system there, as well.
