She should stand her ground View Results 75 y/o Hag, Susan Reitman from Maine says she would rather go to JAIL than to take down her oversized pro-Trump signs!! Officials say she has to take down her signs of face fines and even jail time but she refuses to do so Her signs say "I Love Trump" and "He Won, Get Over it" on her front gate A code enforcement officer says her signs violate a local ordinance because they are bigger than the town allows. He also said another resident complained about the size of the signs as the states residential signs can be no larger than 2 square feet as hers are 3 feet by 2 feet. She could be fined 100 to 1000 per day if she doesn't remove it by Friday but she says she has no intention of doing it nor pay the fines. She said her free speech rights are more important than the ordinance and said "If i have to sit in jail for the rest of eternity, that's my choice" The town says there's a process to apply for permits to display larger signs but Susan said she wasn't aware of such ordinance and feels it should be changed to allow this kind of political speech. Susan also gloated that she can't get enough of her love of Trump because he's kicking out these "people" out of their country and don't want no immigrant living next to her. I can understand not being able to put a massive sun-blocking billboard on your property as that would affect other people's property, but only two square feet?
