There's a manhunt like ten miles from me for some dude. Not important. What is important is I wanted to look up details and I found this article:

That has a picture of a clearly white male. It then proceeds to call him a six-foot, 170-pound black male and I'm completely confused by that. I'm not crazy, right? That is a white guy.

This was my point, yes. If I tell you there's a manhunt for a six-foot, 170 lb black male, you're going to ignore that guy. I mean you'll be suspicious of him in general because of the freaking neck tattoo, but calling that man black is not accurate.

He's probably mixed race, clearly mostly white. Isn't it odd that a man who's mostly white wouldn't just be called that?

I agree. Such a vague description without mention of a tattoo would have someone thinking of a dark skin male. I wonder if they did it based off whatever he put down himself considering he looks to have been in the system already. He may claim to be black despite a mixture.
