Yknow after seeing how Marvel treated their X-Men property in favor of pushing The Inhumans on everyone, I can't help but just giggle a bit at how it all blew up for them.

Doesn't help that Inhumans had a pretty awful development cycle.
It was going to be a movie, that would tie in with the main MCU, and they would also appear in Infinity Wars if I recall correctly. Then it was decided it would be a series, then it was decided it would premiere in theatres, things like IMAX were added (which is why some of the effects look really out of place), issues with script being rewritten due to the move from the big screen to the small screen.
