I don't understand how/don't know how to invest in something. And I don't have enough starting money to hire someone to do it for me.

Even after having it explained to me I still don't know how to do it.

I'm a dumb fella.

Can I just buy and leave it in the app instead of having to purchase an e-wallet to hold my cryptos

And what are the advantages or disadvantages of that

Make an account on coinbase and link a credit card or bank account to buy bitcoin with. That's all that's necessary. Highly recommend transferring it to a wallet, but it could just stay in your coinbase account if you don't plan to hold on to it for years.

Wallets are free, the only ones you'd need to pay for are if you want a physical wallet which is very unnecessary. Look up Electrum and transfer your funds there. Other wallets are far too complicated and take an insane amount of time to set up.

I haven't looked into physical wallets much, but can't you accomplish the same thing by keeping just a watch-only wallet on your phone or PC?

That's how Ive been doing it anyway.

These topics normally happen right after bitcoins value takes a large hit. So what happened this time?

Just check on coinbase and they're worth $3800, down $85 from yestetday I think.

I have some cryptocurrency. Not a lot though, I bought an amount where I won't have any regrets if it all collapses. Plus I think I want to get a house soon so I'm saving a lot.

Watched a documentary on the bitcoin startup and fizzle. Basically it was worth getting into at the start, but now regulators have screwed it and it's just another form of the dollar in digital form.

I actually had a guy suggest that I buy a couple hundred dollars in Bitcoin back in early 2010. It would be worth so much now.
