This so hard. They're not going away, and they're just getting more dangerous by the day.
If you want to be mad at someone, TC, be mad at the Obama administration. 8 years of inaction allowed Best Korea to research and develop nuclear weapons unchecked. And no, sanctions (otherwise known as sticking it to people who's lives already suck, the Kims lives weren't impacted) and harsh condemnation is not action. We're now at a point where they're hitting fly balls over Japan, that's pretty fucking brazen.

Honestly, I feel like North Korea's fate is sealed. I don't like it, but there are really no obvious solutions. We can't just leave them unchecked while they threaten so many people.

China has been our best chance for a peaceful resolution, but at the end of the day it may just not be enough.

The difference is that Iraq was surrounded by dangerous groups. NK would be taken over by South Korea, which is stable.

NK fires a missile at Japan or South Korea. America must retaliate so that further victims do not die. If the best option is to wipe them out entirely.....see below:

American Soldier Lives
North Korean Citizens
South Korean Citizens/Japanese Citizens

You can only pick 2 that you can choose to save. I'm sorry, but the odd-people out are the (rather unfortunate) innocent N. Korean victims that live under the regime. This blood would be on the hands of Kim Jong Un for sentencing his people to death.

If we choose to not "blow them up" then we have to go in with ground forces and get American lives killed in the process. Or we don't strike back, and NK fires another missile and attacks Japan or a United States territory.

I'm sorry. It's not an easy decision, but Kimmy isn't worth wasting American lives on. First and foremost, we look out for ourselves, and then our sworn allies. If I have to choose which lives I'd rather save:

I'm saving American, South Korean, and Japanese lives (or any other country NK attacks). Let China deal with the refugees - since they're partially to blame for not stepping in to stop the NK regime earlier.

It's not an issue for "the world," it's an issue for South Korea. And South Korea knows how difficult it will be, but they still want to, because they still have family suffering under that regime.

Also, it pisses me off that a lot of people are saying Trump's words mean he's itching for war. Dude said total destruction as an act of retaliation, not provocation. Sure, it's harsh language for a prez to use, but it's not unjustified.
